About RAD

Recognize Accept Do!

RAD (Recognize, Accept, Do) is a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum for young people. It is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a form of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

I made RAD to be easy to follow for busy teachers. Simply show the videos and print the material. Use the teacher companion to learn more and access additional activities. All of this for only $10.

Students enjoy RAD. It takes a lighthearted approach to SEL that engages students and helps them in life.

1

EASY

Each module comes with videos, activities, and scripts, so you can start immediately without planning, training, or prep work.

2

AFFORDABLE

RAD costs just $10/year. A great deal for the core lessons with more being added.

3

EFFECTIVE

RAD SEL lessons focus on teachable skills students can use in real situations — not just awareness, discussion, or emotional sharing.

RAD for Life offers educational resources and consulting services aimed at creating effective learning environments. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life and improve outcomes for children and youth.

Please note: RAD is not a replacement for professional therapy. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health issues, it's important to seek advice from a trusted mental health professional. RAD is a resource to complement, not replace, professional care.
